We are one week away from Relay for Life 2009! Just as a reminder, the event is July 18-19 9a-9a at Lincoln School in Redondo Beach. A couple of reminders…

1. Sign up and start fundraising!
2. If you have anything to donate to team store or can help with food and beverage donations, please contact Jen or Marianne ASAP.
3. Please send us a note and let us know what time you will be there. We need to start creating our track time document.
4. Here are some rules to remember:
   • NO SMOKING, ALCOHOL, PETS, BIKES, SKATES, SKATEBOARDS
   • NO OPEN FIRES INCLUDING FIRE PITS
   • NO CHARCOAL GRILLS
   • NO PETS of any kind
   • NO GENERATORS (unless you are in the designated area at the back, along the fence)
   • NO PARKING IN THE SURVIVOR LOT IF YOU ARE NOT A SURVIVOR
   • NO LITTERING (you are responsible for your camp-site, make sure the trash gets to the dumpsters)
   • NO DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, etc.

We are just over a month away from Relay For Life 2009 - July 18th – and we wanted to share some important updates with you…

1) Location Change! This year’s event will be at Lincoln Elementary School in Redondo Beach, CA. Just look for the blue Team Donovan tents!

2) Please sign up online and start fundraising. Sign up here.

3) If anyone has anything they can donate to the team store please contact Jen, Marianne , or leave a comment ASAP. We’ll take any kind of merch/tix/signed items/etc.

4) If anyone can help with food or beverage donations please contact Jen or Marianne ASAP as well.

Team Donovan will be at the 2009 Beach Cities Relay for Life.

The 2009 Beach Cities Relay for Life benefiting the American Cancer Society will be held on July 18th-19th from 9a-9a at the Marine Sports Park in Manhattan Beach, CA.

Update 06/17/2009: Venue changed to Lincoln Elementary School in Redondo Beach, CA

Team Donovan, give yourselves high fives for a job well done! It has been another successful year.

The pictures from the 2008 Beach Cities Relay For Life are up. I will be posting more pictures taken by other people in soon. So, check back often.

Hello again my friends,

I’m pleading for your support.  I understand that times are tough right now but every dollar counts. We really need your support!

So whether you are able to make it to relay or not, please help us raise money. Register anyway and send it to your friends and family. Money goes to programs and research for the American Cancer Society.
